The warship fleet was inspected by Representative General Quentin Bryce and Prince Harry starting 11am (AEST).

Prince Harry arrived the evening prior of today’s Australian Navy Fleet event in Sydney. He is required to meet and welcome spectators sometime in the day.

The people will be waiting until early night to observe the spectacular firecrackers.

7.40pm, the Harbour Bridge and Opera House will illuminate and warships will go about as the launching pad for firecrackers throughout the show.

James Lu, who is a professional photographic artist has already secured himself in the front spot of the Opera House. He has learnt his lesson from the previous New Year’s Eve occasions when he has needed to fight for a spot.

Every year on New Year’s Eve Mr Lu is there at 7.30am to make sure he has a great position since there are numerous individuals all over, he said.

The huge light show ought to be fascinating among the warships and air demonstration.

On the other hand, Newcastle father David Manning is preparing himself 12 hours prior.

Many confirmed that the occasion is the most amazing that Sydney has had including Mr Manning. “It was truly stunning to stroll on the Garden Island shores and see 10 warships lined up in succession.”

There will be a 100 times gun salute from Garden Island soon after the Navy Helicopter presentation group perform at 10.45 am over the Farm Cove.

At 11.20 am, more air shows are to witness that will line the sky over Sydney Harbour.

Ships will be stopped between 5.50 pm and 9 pm whilst the firecrackers show is still on the move.

The spectators are suggested to use public transport when they like to join the show instead of  using their cars for there will be huge crowds and closed roads like Macquarie Street north of Hunter Street and Art Gallery Road in the Royal Botanic Gardens which is now closed.

There will be further road close in the CBD and down the foreshore for the whole day. This event is expected to gather 1.4 million people to the city.
